We are producing a variety of spirits that include Vodka, Wheat Whiskey, Gin and Rum for starters. Owners, Ryan and Lesli Winter are excited to introduce the community to local, top quality small batch spirits that are all hand made right here in San Clemente. One of the most unique aspects of Drift is this grain to bottle operation is getting their wheat from their parents family farm outside the town of Bison, Kansas. We take a lot of pride in the fact that we’re able to make premium spirits that we love with the grain planted and harvested by our parents. Not many distilleries can say that. Even our tasting room is built out of a 100 year old barn from the farm and definitely makes our tasting room a one of a kind.

We are currently working on expanding our operation and during construction over the next few months, we will only be open to the public limited hours. Sorry for the inconvenience. Our new public hours are Thursday, Friday, Saturday 3pm - 4pm. And Sunday noon to 3pm.

OUR PROCESS_
Here at Drift, we like to do things the right way. It may take a little longer but in the end it’s all worth the hard work. Our main portfolio of spirits which consist of vodka, wheat whiskey and gin, all use our family grown wheat from our parents farm in Kansas. That’s right! We go all the way to Kansas to get our grain. Why do we go all the way to Kansas? Because we know exactly the quality of grain and not to mention the hardwork that goes into harvesting a good quality wheat. Once we receive the grain here in San Clemente, we go to work. We do everything here at Drift. We mill, mash, ferment, distill and bottle everything here in San Clemente, California. We don’t take short cuts and we do it the right way.
